Sorbalgon Ag Dressing 4" x 4". Latex-free, sterile, silver containing calcium alginate dressing composed with soft, alginate textile fibers, carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) and ionic silver complex (silver carbonate). Releases silver ions in the presence of wound fluid and protects dressing from microorganisms. As wound fluids absorb into the dressing, it forms a soft, non-adhering gel to help promote the healing process while maintaining a moist environment for optimal wound management. The dressings are highly absorbent and remain intact during the removal process with no residue left in the wound.
